This curious salt lake in the Vestfold Hills has a connection with the sea. It is hypersaline and stratified, that is the upper water is always fresher than the lower water.

Named For

Named for Dr Lloyd Fletcher, Medical Officer at Davis in 1978 who assisted with the water sampling program in spite of difficult weather conditions.
