Pyramidal peak, 475 m, with exposed rock on its N side, lying 3 mi S of Cape Legoupil and 1 mi E of Huon Bay, on the N side of Trinity Peninsula. Discovered by a French expedition, 1837-40, under Capt. Jules Dumont d'Urville, who named it for Lt. Charles Jacquinot, commander of the expedition ship Zelee.
