Narrative

Small group of islands lying 1 mi NW of Moreton Point the W extremity of Coronation Island, in the South Orkney Islands. Discovered by Capt. George Powell and Capt. Nathaniel Palmer on the occasion of their joint cruise in December 1821. They were named on Capt. Petter Sorlle's chart, based upon his survey of the South Orkney Islands in 1912-13, in honor of Capt. C.A. Larsen.
