Narrative

The sector of Antarctica between Cape Filchner at 91 degrees 58' E and Cape Hordern in the Bunger Hills at 100 degrees 28' E. Discovered by AAE (1911-14) under Sir Douglas Mawson, who named it after HM Queen Mary, wife of HM King George V.
