Point 4 mi S of Table Bay on the W coast of Elephant Island, South Shetland Islands. Mapped by the U.K. Joint Services Expedition to Elephant Island, 1970-71, and named after the Giant Petrel (Macronectes giganteus) which breeds there; "Stinker" being a sailors' name for that bird.
