This name originates from Italy. It is part of the Italy Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A massive peak 3km NE of Schoeck Peak, with an ice W and N walls. It is an important orographic point since 4 main ridges make its top, that is not much elevated from the East col (1840m a.s.l.). Named for the town of the Alpine Club of Paolo Gardino who first climbed it in 1997.
