This name originates from Italy. It is part of the Italy Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
At 3.3nm E of Edmonson Point. Volcanic rock about 3km offshore, rising from the sea bottom (300 m depth) up to 5.7m below sea level. So named because R/V Italica hit the pinnacle during Hydrographic survvey in 1996.
