Narrative

A rock bluff (c.400 m) in the S part of Britannia Range. The bluff marks the S side of the terminus of Yancey Glacier at the juncture with Byrd Glacier. Named by US-ACAN in association with Byrd Glacier and Yancey Glacier (q.v.), after Capt. J.E. Cohn, USN, captain of USS Yancey, a cargo ship of USN Operation HighJump, 1946-47, led by Admiral Byrd.
