This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The heights rising to over 600 m in the SE part of Greenwich Island. Extending 12 km between Santa Cruz Point in the NE, and the base of the moraine spit at the mouth of Yankee Harbour in the SW. Ice-covered except for certain limited areas such as Oborishte Ridge, Ephraim Bluff, Viskyar Ridge and Bogdan Ridge. Named after the town of Breznik in Western Bulgaria.
