This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The sharp peak of elevation 780 m in Levski Ridge, Tangra Mountains, Livingston Island. Situated 1.4 km NNW of Helmet Peak and 5.4 km SE of Atanasoff Nunatak. Bulgarian topographic survey Tangra 2004/05. Named in appreciation of the role of scientific intuition for the advancement of human knowledge.
