This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The glacier on Livingston Island situated S of the glacial divide between the Drake Passage and Bransfield Strait, and draining into South Bay between Ereby Point and Memorable Beach. Extending 5 km in E-W direction, and 2.5 km in N-S direction. Named after Kamchiya River in Northeastern Bulgaria.
