This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 250-m wide pass between Maritsa Peak and Atanasoff Nunatak in eastern Bowles Ridge, Livingston Island. Elevation 375 m at its N entrance from Struma Glacier, and 260 m at the S entrance from Huron Glacier. Part of an overland route between middle Huron Glacier and upper Kaliakra Glacier. Bulgarian topographic survey Tangra 2004/05. Named after the town of Pirdop in Central Bulgaria.
