This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The point on the E coast of Ioannes Paulus II Peninsula, Livingston Island, projecting 500 m into Hero Bay. Formed by an offshoot of Oryahovo Heights. Situated 2.4 km N of Agüero Point, and 3 km S of Black Point. Named after the town of Sandanski in Southwestern Bulgaria.
