This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The 250 m wide saddle in Delchev Ridge, Tangra Mountains, eastern Livingston Island. Bounded to the SW by Elena Peak and to the NE by Kaloyan Nunatak. Elevation over 200 m. Part of the divide between the glacial catchments of Sopot Ice Piedmont to the NW and a nameless minor glacier draining southward into Bransfield Strait. Named after the Bulgarian town of Sozopol.
