This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The ice-covered col linking Falsa Aguja Peak and Levski Peak in Levski Ridge, Tangra Mountains, eastern Livingston Island. The feature is 2.3 km long, its axis trending E-W, with precipitous northern and southern slopes. Slightly higher central portion of elevation approx. 1,350 m. Part of the divide between the glacial catchments of Huron Glacier to the N and the head of Macy Glacier to the S. Named after Sveti Ivan Rilski (Saint John of Rila, 876-946 AD), a Bulgarian hermit who founded the Rila Monastery.
