Origin

This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The rocky peak rising to over 200 m at the S extremity of the crescent-shaped Peshev Ridge, Tangra Mountains, eastern Livingston Island. The feature is trending approx. 300 m in NW-SE direction, and is linked by saddle to the rest of Peshev Ridge. Situated 1.25 km SSE of the summit of Peshev Ridge, 3.5 km W by S of Aytos Point and 2.5 km NE of Samuel Point. Overlooking Boyana Glacier to the E and NE, Vazov Point to the S and Brunow Bay to the SW.Takes its name from the adjacent Vazov Point.
