This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The peak rising to 430 m in the SE extremity of Breznik Heights, Greenwich Island. Situated 450 m SE of Vratsa Peak, 1.4 km E by S of the highest point of Viskyar Ridge, 2.3 km W of Fort Point, 400 m N of Ziezi Peak, and 2.3 km NE of Sartorius Point. Overlooking Musala Glacier to the N, and Targovishte Glacier to the SW. Bulgarian topographic survey Tangra 2004/05. Named after Col. Boris Drangov (1872-1917), a renowned Bulgarian military commander and pedagogue.
