This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The point on the coast of Moon Bay, Livingston Island situated 6.75 km SSW of Edinburgh Hill, 1.76 km SE of Sindel Point, 3.05 km E of Sliven Peak, 2.05 km NE of Zlatograd Rock and 5.57 km NW of Rila Point. Adjacent coastal configuration modified significantly as a result of glacier retreat in the late 20th and early 21st century. Bulgarian topographic survey Tangra 2004/05. Named after Elemag, governor of the southwestern region of Bulgaria with provincial capital town Belgrad (Berat) under Czar Samuel, Czar Gavril Radomir and Czar Ivan Vladislav (10-11th Century AD).
