This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-free point on the NW coast of Snow Island in the South Shetland Islands situated 1.5 km SW of Cape Timblón, and 2 km NE of Irnik Point. British mapping in 1968. Named after the town of Mezdra in Northwestern Bulgaria.
