This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-free point on the NE coast of Varna Peninsula, Livingston Island forming the NW side of the entrance to Dragon Cove. Situated 1.1 km SSE of Williams Point, 750 m NE of Sayer Nunatak, and 800 m WNW of Ficheto Point. British mapping in 1968. Named after Teodor Sigritsa, Kavhan (hereditary viceroy function) under the Bulgarian ruler Czar Simeon the Great (9-10th Century AD).
