Small group of nunataks reaching a height of 1566 m.a.s.l. NNW of Mount Jenkins and NE of Mount Ballard, Sweeney Mountains, Ellsworth Land. Surveyed by USGS 1961-62. Named for Dr David J. Cantrill, Geologist at BAS 1992-2002, who carried out research on plant fossils from the area (APC, 2004).
