This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The triangular island situated 120 m off the N coast of Robert Island, South Shetland Islands, and 950 m WNW of Newell Point. Extending 350 by 200 m. Bulgarian mapping in 2008 Named after the settlement of Tatul adjacent to a major Thracian shrine complex in the Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria related to Orpheus.
