Narrative

Distinctive peak ~1280 m.a.s.l. on the eastern spur at the southern end of ridge running 5 km SSW from Mount Jenkins, Sweeney Mountains. Named after Dr Teal R. Riley (b. 1970), BAS geologist since 1995 who has contributed greatly to the understanding of supercontinental break-up. (APC 2009).
