This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The 2.8 km long and 1 km wide steep valley glacier on Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago, situated S of Gorichane Glacier, W of the head of Malpighi Glacier, NW of the head of Mackenzie Glacier and NNE of Pirogov Glacier. Drains the W slopes of Harvey Heights and the N slopes of Mount Parry, and flows northwestwards into Lanusse Bay N of Venchan Peak. Named after the Bulgarian-American Carl Djerassi (1923-2015), a co-inventor of the oral contraceptive pill.
