This name originates from United Kingdom. It is part of the Gazetteer of the British Antarctic Territory and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Glacier flowing NE-Eastwards from the Lemay Range, meeting Jupiter Glacier to the North as they flow into George VI Sound. Named after Haumea, a dwarf planet situated beyond situated Pluto, discovered in 2004 by a team at the Palomar Observatory, California, and by a team at the Sierra Nevada Observatory, Spain, 2005 (APC 2010).
