This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The point on the SW coast of Greenwich Island in the South Shetland Islands forming the S extremity of Archar Peninsula. Situated 2.4 km SE of Duff Point and 3.9 km NE of Pomorie Point on Livingston Island. Bulgarian mapping in 2009. Named after the settlement of Pelishat in Northern Bulgaria. Approved on June 3, 2010.
