This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The peak rising to 1220 m in Srednogorie Heights on Trinity Peninsula, Antarctic Peninsula. Situated 3.3 km SSE of Corner Peak, 8.96 km ESE of Hanson Hill, 12.1 km N of Sirius Knoll and 7.17 km SW of Crown Peak. Surmounting Trajan Gate to the E, Malorad Glacier to the N and Russell West Glacier to the S. German-British mapping in 1996. Named after the settlement of Graf Ignatievo in Southern Bulgaria, in connection with the Russian diplomat Count Nikolay Ignatyev (1832-1908). Approved on June 3, 2010.
