This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 7.4 km long and 5.7 km wide glacier on the W side of southern Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains. Situated S of Brook Glacier and N of Sirma Glacier. Draining west-southwestwards from Mount Allen, Mount Liptak and Mount Southwick, and flowing S of Krusha Peak to join Bender Glacier. US mapping in 1988. Named after the Bulgarian High School of Bolgrad, a major Bulgarian education centre in Ukraine established in 1858.
