This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The narrow rocky col of elevation 2100 m linking the SE slopes of Mount Craddock to the NE ridge of Mount Strybing in Sentinel Range, Ellsworth Mountains.. Extending 1.7 km in E-W direction, with a depression in its E part. US mapping in 1988. Named after the settlement of Karnare in Southern Bulgaria. Approved on December 6, 2010.
