This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The peak rising to 1500 m in the central part of Rudozem Heights on Fallières Coast, Graham Land. Situated 12.84 km NE of Bottrill Head and 6.71 km SSE of Thompson Head. Precipitous and partly ice-free NW And S slopes. Surmounting Bader Glacier to the N and Bucher Glacier to the SW. British mapping in 1978. Named after the town of Glavinitsa in Northeastern Bulgaria. Approved on December 6, 2010.
