This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered ridge rising to over 1200 m on the NW side of Louis-Philippe Plateau on Trinity Peninsula in Graham Land. Extending 6.5 km in SW-NE direction and 4 km wide, and linked to the S to Louis-Philippe Plateau by Huhla Col. German-British mapping in 1996. Named after the settlement of Snegotin in Southern Bulgaria. Approved on December 6, 2010.
