This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 5.5 km long and 2.5 km wide glacier on the E side of north-central Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains situated N of the upper course of Ellen Glacier. Draining the E slopes of Mount Todd and flowing north-northwestwards to join Embree Glacier SE of Mount Goldthwait. US mapping in 1988. Named after the nature reserve of Patleyna in Northeastern Bulgaria. Approved on December 6, 2010.
