This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The narrow rocky hill extending 1.7 km in NW-SE direction and rising to 583 m in Erul Heights on Trinity Peninsula in Graham Land. Situated 1.98 km SE of Gigen Peak, 2.27 km SW of Coburg Peak, 4.96 km W by N of Panhard Nunatak, 2.64 km NE of Siniger Nunatak and 3.63 km E of Roman Knoll. Surmounting Russell East Glacier to the S. German-British mapping in 1996. Named after the settlement of Lopyan in Western Bulgaria. Approved on December 6, 2010.
