This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered peak rising to over 700 m in the N foothills of Louis-Philippe Plateau on Trinity Peninsula in Graham Land. Situated 3.66 km NW of Tintyava Peak, 12.11 km N of Hochstetter Peak and 10.76 km NE of Lardigo Peak. Overlooking Bransfield Strait to the N. German-British mapping in 1996. Named after the settlement of Ogled in Southern Bulgaria. Approved on December 6, 2010.
