This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The mostly ice-free col of elevation over 800 m on Trinity Peninsula in Graham Land linking Kondofrey Heights to the E to Detroit Plateau to the W. Situated 1.03 km WNW of Gurgulyat Peak, 6.6 km N by W of Mount Bradley and 10 km S by W of Zlidol Gate. Surmounting the upper course of Victory Glacier to the N, and a tributary to Znepole Ice Piedmont to the S. German-British mapping in 1996. Named after the settlement of Podgumer in Western Bulgaria. Approved on December 6, 2010.
