This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The flat ice-covered saddle of elevation over 700 m on Trinity Peninsula in Graham Land, which is linking Marescot Ridge to the NW to Louis-Philippe Plateau to the SE. Overlooking the upper course of Malorad Glacier to the W. German-British mapping in 1996. Named after the settlement of Prelez in Northeastern Bulgaria. Approved on December 6, 2010.
