This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The peak rising to 1500 m in Doyran Heights, SE Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains. Situated 3.15 km ENE of Mount Benson, 7.91 km SSW of Taylor Spur and 3.6 km NW of Johnson Spur. Surmounting Remington Glacier to the N and Obelya Glacier to the S. US mapping in 1988. Named after Midzhur Peak in Western Balkan Mountains.
