This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The heights rising to 2900 m (Bezden Peak) in north-central Sentinel Range, Ellsworth Mountains. Bounded by Patleyna Glacier to the W, Embree Glacier to the NW and NE, and Kopsis Glacier to the SE. Extending 12 km in SW-NE direction and 10 km in NW-SE direction. Linked to Probuda Ridge to the SW by Chepino Saddle, and to Maglenik Heights to the S by Panicheri Gap. US mapping in 1988. Named after the settlement of Bangeytsi in Northern Bulgaria.
