This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The narrow, rocky hill extending 2.9 km in N-S direction and rising to 800 m on the E side of Edgeworth Glacier on Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land. Situated 3.6 km S of Kopriva Peak, 8.1 km NW of Dolen Peak, 6,92 km E by N of Trave Peak and 7.36 km SE of Paramun Buttress. Named after Nesho Chipev (b. 1953), biologist at St. Kliment Ohridski base during the 1994/95 and subsequent seasons.
