This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky point at the SE extremity of Metlichina Ridge, forming the N side of the entrance to Borima Bay on Oscar II Coast, Antarctic Peninsula. Situated 9.9 km NW of Kunino Point and 6.5 km NNE of Caution Point. Formed as a result of the disintegration of Larsen Ice Shelf in the area in 2002 and the subsequent retreat of Jorum Glacier. Named after the settlement of Diralo in Southern Bulgaria.
