This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky, partly ice-free peak rising to 550 m in Poibrene Heights on Oscar II Coast, Antarctic Peninsula. Situated on Blagoevgrad Peninsula, 5.5 km N of Kunino Point, 5.55 km SE of Ravnogor Peak, 9 km W of Kesten Point and 9.85 km NW of Foyn Point. Named after the settlement of Tikale in Southern Bulgaria.
