This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The submarine ridge in South Bay, Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands. Extending 3.5 km in SE-NW direction between Vergilov Rocks and the opposite Pimpirev Beach at a depth of over 50 m, with depths exceeding 100 m on both sides of the ridge. Formed as a frontal moraine of Perunika Glacier in 13-17 century. Takes its name from Vergilov Rocks.
