This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky, partly ice-free peak rising to 1500 m between Woodbury Glacier and Montgolfier Glacier on Danco Coast in Graham Land. Situated 4.35 km E of The Downfall, 5.55 km SSW of Sophie Cliff, and 2.9 km N of Mechit Buttress. British mapping in 1980. Named after the Bulgarian enlightener and revolutionary Bacho Kiro (Kiro Zanev, 1835-1876).
