This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky peak rising to 2500 m in Bearskin Ridge on the E side of Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains. Situated 2.95 km NE of Mount Bearskin, 7.9 km S of Mount Jumper, and 8.8 km WSW of Mamarchev Peak. Surmounting Patton Glacier to the NW and Crosswell Glacier to the SE. US mapping in 1988. Named after the mythical Thracian king and deity Zalmoxis.
