This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 4.13 km wide cove indenting for 1.56 km the SE coast of Nelson Island in the South Shetland Islands. Entered E of Ivan Alexander Point and W of Slavotin Point. Shape enhanced as a result of glacier retreat in the late 20th and early 21st century. Named after the ancient and medieval fortress of Tuida in Southeastern Bulgaria.
