This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky peak rising to 1300 m in Stevrek Ridge, Aristotle Mountains on Oscar II Coast in Graham Land. Situated 5.4 km SSE of Ishirkov Crag, 16.73 km W of Radovene Point, and 13.5 km NE of Vrelo Peak. Surmounting Mapple Glacier to the N and Melville Glacier to the S. British mapping in 1976. Named after Rilets Peak in Rila Mountain, Bulgaria.
