This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky peak rising to 1250 m in the W part of Parlichev Ridge, Aristotle Mountains on Oscar II Coast in Graham Land. Situated 17.35 km NE of Madrid Dome, 13.5 km SW of Rilets Peak, and 14.12 km NW of Mount Mayhew. Surmounting Melville Glacier to the N and Pequod Glacier to the S. British mapping in 1976. Named after the settlement of Vrelo in Southern Bulgaria.
