This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky Y-shaped ridge extending 20 km in E-W direction, 7.15 km wide, and rising to 1200 m (Mount Mayhew) in Aristotle Mountains on Oscar II Coast in Graham Land. Surmounting Pequod Glacier to the N and Starbuck Glacier to the S. British mapping in 1976. Named after Taridin, governor in Southwestern Bulgaria under Czar Boris I and Czar Simeon I (9th-10th century).
