This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky ridge rising to 550 m and horseshoe-shaped, extending 3.2 km in N-S direction and 2.2 km in E-W direction on Oscar II Coast in Graham Land. Situated 3.65 km S of Mount Quandary, 5.75 km NW of Reselets Peak, and 9.9 km E of Sekirna Spur. Part of the glacial divide between Hektoria Glacier to the W and Brenitsa Glacier to the E. British mapping in 1978. Named after Hristo Tatarchev (1869-1952), a leader of the Bulgarian liberation movement in Macedonia.
