This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The rocky ridge extending 6.9 km in NNW-SSE direction and 2.6 km wide, rising to 850 m in Aristotle Mountains on Oscar II Coast in Graham Land. Situated in the SE foothills of Mount Sara Teodora, 5.78 km SSE of its summit point, and 5.07 km NW of Hitrino Peak, 11.46 km N of Bildad Peaj, and 12.58 km ENE of Mount Fedallah. Surmounting Ambergris Glacier to the W, and Flask Glacier and one of its tributaries to the S and E respectively. British mapping in 1976. Named after the Bulgarian poet Dobri Chintulov (1822-1886), in connection with the settlement Chintulovo in Southeastern Bulgaria.
